Cowboy Hat

In this place I found a way to escape
But the cops are coming to arrest me
Old times seem so far away
When I see my hair how it look so gray

I always thought that I was a runaway
But now I know it's time to surrender
Then I got my cowboy hat
And I'm getting ready to get down the river

This is a story of a broken man
Not so broken, but old enough to don't stand
He picked up some things and tooked off
But lefted his heart, it's nothing at all

I know the words but i cannot rhyme
I'm getting lost in my own mind
Another drink and it's gonna be allright
