A Forest And A Dream

Ein Wald Und Ein Traum

A Forest And A Dream

Einst hatte ich einen TraumOnce I had a dream
Von einem weißen und grünen WaldOf a white and green forest
Magie lag in den Bäumen und dem SchneeMagic was in the trees and snow
Ich fühlte einen Geist, der mir nahe kamI felt a spirit come close to me
Er sagte mir, ich sei gewandertIt told me I have wandered
In einen geheimen, alten WaldInto a secret ancient forest
Wo das Leben unberührt istWhere life is untouched
Von Bösem oder HassBy evil or hate
Ich finde mich stehendI find myself standing
Beobachte die LandschaftObserving the landscape
In Ehrfurcht stehend, dachte ich nachStanding in awe, I pondered
Ob dieser wunderbareThinking if this wonderful
Ort real istPlace is real
Doch das spielt keine RolleBut it does not matter
Denn hier fühle ich mich zu HauseFor here I feel at home
Mystischer Wald, du kannst mich behaltenMystical forest, you can keep me
Traum oder nicht, ich werde genau hier seinDream or not, I will be right here

Einst hatte ich einen TraumOnce I had a dream
Von einer Dame in Weiß gekleidetOf a lady dressed in white
Ihr Gesicht und Kleid passen zum SchneeHer face and dress match the snow
Sie sagte mir, ich solle keine Angst habenShe told me not to be afraid
Ich bin in ihr Reich gewandertI have wondered into her realm
Von Magie und GeisternOf magic and spirits
Wo Zeit und Raum stillstehenWhere time and space stand still
Jetzt wird mir klar,Now I realize,
Während ich in die Sterne schaueWhile looking into the stars
An diesem klaren AbendOn this clear night
Die Schönheit der NaturThe beauty of nature
Und ihrer GeschöpfeAnd its creatures
Und ihre Seelen werden sprechenAnd their souls will speak
Zu allen, die bereit sindTo all who are willing
Ihrem Reden zuzuhörenTo listen to their speech
Es ist eine Rede von Schönheit und RomantikIt is a speech of beauty and romance
Möge sie für immer in meinem Herzen seinMay it be forever in my heart
Und in deinem auch.And yours
