Life In The City

Life in the city's expensive today.
I know because that's where my girl went when my girl went away.
She calls me up now just to calm me down, she calms me down, but it's only sound.
Boys will come visit, there's no room for doubt.
I try to stay calm but sometimes I just can't help but shout.

How can they see more than me in her eyes?
I realize she's the prize and I'm the fool.

Curves in the road make the driving go slow.
