Wild vines crawling through the fancy fence
Looks more appealing in another sense
Sweet fruit falls far from the bitter tree
On impact doesn’t bruise so easily

Miles of wild vines are growing under traffic overflow
Idling through a thoroughfare never fails you’ll go somewhere
Where the time gets all stretched out

Wild vines all along the lattice fence
Grown out their welcome to their heart’s content
Tall grass sprouting from the lower ground
I'm too high, line of sight begins to cloud
Too high, line of sight becomes a shroud
