I took a walk last night
confusion ruled my mind
like when you wake up in a dream
nothing seemed to rhyme
sometimes it's hard to find,
some sense, a clue, a strategy

all my worries
they never felt so strong
'guess it's time to set a course,
and find a thing to head upon
wasting time
has lasted far too long
a drowning man clutches at a straw
but the current can be awful strong
