The maze of my mind

This morning I felt like I was going insane
Something had a lock on my brain , and I couldn't find the key

This morning I felt like I had left something behind
And you know i couldn't find a reason why, I didn't have the time

This morning I felt like nothing mattered anymore
But I knew I've felt this way before, if never quite so sure

There's something around the corner waiting
There's something in the air tonight
My head is chock full of cliches Rolling around inside

I'd write (fight) my way out of this paper bag But my hands are tied

I'd find it if I wasn't always lost In the maze of my mind.

This morning I shook with tiny earthquakes in my hands.
The harder that I tried to understand, the worse that it became.

This morning I lost my sense of balance in the hall
I had to use my arms to break my fall, stop the floor from hitting me.

This morning I guess I'd say I felt a little strange.
I wished my body could be exchanged for a 21 year old
