There's murder in the streets from the wars of our countries
for all of our women and children to see
Their lives will go on like there is nothing wrong
while the secrets of leaders of nations go on and on...

The sickness of the world has infected our dreams
and our strengths and our faith and god-given beliefs
But we cannot fight, what we cannot see
we'll sit and we'll listen and try not to think...

Help me stop this, help me please

While children are dying and starving for food
we're breathing in air that our cities pollute
We'll search for the divine that our science disproves
we're stuck here we're trapped left with nowhere to move...

But Clarity comes for the prices we'll pay
while our logic and reason make consciences fade
But certainly someone will rise up to save us
we'll vote and elect, there's no one to change us...
