I'm in Awe

Snow falls down on this poisoned earth
And it purifies and it gives rebirth to the soil, the dead soil
Life springs up from death it rises
It raises its arms up to the sky and replies... glorifies

I'm in awe why

Learned scholars and righteous men were
Numerous in Israel's land in his time
But he chose sailors and tax collectors
He hung with sinners and sex offenders as friends, as his friends

I'm in awe why
I'm in awe of Christ

I am the dirt of a cursed land
I am born in sin, an unholy man to God, to our God
But God's wonder is that he chooses a broken man
And he uses this life, this dead life

I'm in awe why
I'm in awe of Christ
