Face-Splitting Madness

I wake up and sharpen my axe
My smile widens as I think of my task
A stench lingers, a trace of my past
Yesterday's victim will not be my last

A lifework of torment and pain
To gash and lacerate skulls and brain
The law couldn't quench my need to kill
But my murderous rampage will

Feel the metal blade crushing your skull
It takes one swing, this axe is never dull
I stalk my kill, throughout the darkness
You’ll never escape this face-splitting madness

Rot fills the streets I skulk
My victims went missing but never found
I frequently visit the sites to get a glance
Assuming the victim never had a chance

Sooner or later they’ll open their eyes
Catch and demolish me for my disguise
An executioner who feeds off disgust
As if I couldn’t control my bloodthirsty lust
