Shame

Oh my God
I did it again
Why is this happening to me?
Why am I supposed to be?
The roses are dead now
And there's no air to compose all my lungs
Why do I keep doing this to myself?

When I look beyond my window
Instead of rest on my own pillow
I ask myself

I'm drowning in my thoughts, and I can't breathe
The weight of silence is all I see
I search for the answers, but they slip away
Into the the dark, I slowly fade

I saw my name on the grave
And that was it
Just rest me in shame

This night is cold and endless
I need to burn this silence
Lost again
Every step I take feels heavier than before

I tried to speak, but silence stayed
I tried to scream
But nobody cared
Its hard to talk when words are knives
That cut so deep
