Here I am
To a chasm of distance
Suddenly I realized
An ocean between us

Here I am
Painted like a clown
With the stained makeup
Revealing frustration

Echoing in the colossal walls of the abyss
I can hear their voices
Denying the facts that keep us stuck in this endless chaos

Reflecting on the ocean water
I can see their faces, formed by a touch screen
With a smile marked by illusion

Here I am, free from guilt
To keep me away from fire
That burns so close to the face
Consuming earth essence

Drop by drop
I became hard as a rock
Drop by drop
This water has frozen
Drop by drop
My eyes no longer seek them
Drop by drop
I realized
That I can only protect
Those who believe in the threat

I hope
That your God keep you safe
That I am wrong
I hope
That when all this is over
You are all still alive

And maybe
Begin to respect
Drop by drop
The different becomes normal
Drop by drop
The normal becomes absurd

That the ice becomes water again
