Mejor Que Ayer

Better Than Yesterday

Desde que te fuisteEver since you walked away
Todos me preguntan cada díaEverybody asks me every day
¿Cómo has estado? ¿Estás bien? How've you been? Are you okay?
Al principio, las palabras se me escapabanAt first, the words just slipped away

Ahora puedo responder sin desmoronarmeNow I can answer without breaking down
Porque finalmente lo veo de alguna manera'Cause I finally see it somehow
Fue mejor para míIt was better for me
Mejor para tiBetter for you
Mejor para los dosBetter for both of us

Así que seguiré diciendoSo I'll keep saying

Mejor que ayerBetter than yesterday
Ahí es donde estoy hoyThat's where I am today
Y espero estar peor que mañanaAnd I hope I'm worse than tomorrow
Mejor que ayerBetter than yesterday

Hay días que aún me derribanSome days still knock me to the ground
Hay noches en que tu recuerdo vuelveSome nights your memory comes around
Pero la sanación no llega rápidoBut healing doesn't happen fast
Cada paso está hecho para durarEvery step is built to last

Hay días en que no estoy bienThere are days I'm not okay
Y está bien, de todos modos no lo estabaAnd that's alright, I wasn't anyway
Todo está encontrando su lugarEverything is finding its place
Incluso si sucede día a díaEven if it happens day by day

Sigo adelante, un respiro a la vezI'm moving on, one breath at a time
Aprendiendo a hacer de esta vida la míaLearning how to make this life mine
Incluso cuando estas lágrimas aún caenEven when these tears still fall
Sé que algún día se desvaneceránI know someday they'll fade at all

Mejor que ayerBetter than yesterday
Ahí es donde estoy hoyThat's where I am today
Y espero estar peor que mañanaAnd I hope I'm worse than tomorrow
Mejor que ayerBetter than yesterday

Mejor que ayerBetter than yesterday
Sí, mejor que ayerYeah, better than yesterday
