Meaningless

We all were afflicted
With these visible failings
At least you have to realize it´s meaningless
You see
We have to expect all that terrible wailing
You leave a shade and that´s all
When you jump across this natural barrier
I can´t see you , but I feel your presence
Your hand in my hand - I leave you
As I drown into emotionless eternity
I close my chapter - I said enough
For all time and it´s over and I´m free
I´m not to be continued
Everything I hate and all the things I´d love
It´s meaningless and it´s true
You will never feel the pain
You´ll hear me singing on my long way home
I close my chapter . . .
Life belongs to the living !!
