but you didn't answer
now I'm scared I've
done so much wrong
that I've lost you forever

keeping in mind
the times of the past
when we were together
I know its God's plan
if were meant to be
meant for each other

why did you have to go?
my dream had yet come true
why must you hurt me so?
what did I do to you?
true love had ran it's course
it ran straight over me
cause when I look at you
your hope is gone for you and me

I could have sworn that there was something there
a relationship that can't compare
the smile on your face that used to be
that is all gone now there is no more you and me

even if you
leave me alone
with nothing at all
then God will be there
He'll be by my side
I guess it worked out for better
