I see the muddy water
In the stormy lake
The trees are getting older
And the kids don't play

Deep below the ashes
And the rotten leafes
Are souls that ones were buried
With a dream of peace

The fear of my illusion
Is why I'm locked inside
A cave with all confusion
Under the big black sky

And all that is forgotten
About the world we knew
Will slowly rise upon us
It's all that we can do

And all my friends are saying you better let go
But my heart it tells me to never to do so
I never wanted to stay, it's better like this
To keep us far away from all the memories
