It's perfect here though
I feel out of place in the past

The anticipation of a little death

Although it feels perfect

It's fatal thread
"I love you now, but will it stay this way?"
The cynic inside me says
I'll have to pay
Deep in my mind
I want to say it's true
But love in the past has always faded too soon
I want to deny the feelings locked up inside
I want to accept, but will I get out alive?
It's all too perfect
It's all too real
It's all too painful
Realize how I feel
It feels so right and yet it seems so wrong
If feelings aren't forever, then I'll have to move on
