Nota: Ali era el primo y yerno del profeta Mahoma. Él es especialmente venerado por los místicos sufíes
Note: Ali was the cousin and son-in-law of Prophet Muhammad. He is especially revered by the Sufi mystics.

Ali es el elegido [por Dios]
Ali is the chosen one [by God]
[y] el líder del pueblo que se balancea en la memoria [de Dios]
[and] the leader of the people swaying in [God’s] remembrance
Soy el perro de las calles del león de Dios
I am the dog of the streets of God’s lion.

Kabhii diivaar hiltii hai, kabhii dar kaanp jaataa hai
kabhii diivaar hiltii hai, kabhii dar kaaNp jaataa hai
Ali kaa naam sun kar ab bhii Khaibar KaanP jaataa hai
Ali kaa naam sun kar ab bhii Khaibar kaaNp jaataa hai

A veces la pared tiembla, a veces tiembla la puerta
Sometimes the wall shakes, sometimes trembles the door
al escuchar el nombre de Ali, el fuerte de Khaibar tiembla incluso ahora
on listening the name of Ali, the fort of Khaibar trembles even now.

Nota: Durante la lucha por el Fuerte de Khaibar, Ali desarraigó la pesada puerta del fuerte y la usó como su escudo
Note: During the fight for the Fort of Khaibar, Ali rooted out the heavy door of the fort and used it as his shield.

lalkaar kar Marhab ko Pichaaraa jisne

[Uno] que implantó la bandera de la fe en las rocas
[One] who implanted the flag of faith on the rocks
[Uno] que desafió a Marhab y lo derrotó
[One] who challenged Marhab and defeated him.

Nota: En la misma guerra, Ali desafió y derrotó al célebre guerrero Marhab
Note: In the same war, Ali challenged and defeated the celebrated warrior Marhab.

isii naam kii barkat ne diye raaz-e-haqiiqat khol

¡Oh mi corazón! cantar esto
O my heart! chant this
[como] este es el nombre que es verdadero
[as] this is the name that is true.
Este es el nombre que elimina el sufrimiento
This is the name that removes suffering
[y] la auspiciosidad de este nombre abrió los secretos del ser
[and] the auspiciousness of this name opened the secrets of being.

mar Jauun a kafan par bhii likhna Ali Ali
mar jauuN to kafan par bhii likhna Ali Ali

Mi cuerpo canta Ali, también mi lengua
My body chants Ali, so does my tongue
[y] cuando muera, escriba a Ali en mi sudario
[and] when I die, then write Ali on my shroud.

Baghair Hubb-e-Ali mudd'aa nahiin miltaa
baGhair hubb-e-Ali mudd’aa nahiiN miltaa
ibaadaton kaa bhii hargiz silaa nahiin miltaa
ibaadatoN kaa bhii hargiz silaa nahiiN miltaa
Khudaa ke Bandon suno Ghaur se Khudaa kii qasam
Khudaa ke bandoN suno Ghaur se Khudaa kii qasam
jise Ali NaHiin milte use Khudaa NaHiin miltaa
jise Ali nahiiN milte use Khudaa nahiiN miltaa

Sin el amor de Ali, el deseo no se cumple
Without the love of Ali, desire is not fulfilled
ni siquiera las oraciones son contestadas
not even the prayers are answered.
¡O! esclavos de Dios escuchen atentamente, por Dios!
O! slaves of God listen carefully, by God!
Aquel que no se da cuenta de que Ali no se da cuenta de Dios
One who does not realizes Ali does not realize God.

Ali milla a milla Khaana-e-Khudaa saa Haen
Ali mile to mile Khaana-e-Khudaa saa hameN
Khudaa ko Dhuundha to vo bhi Ali ke ghar se milaa
Khudaa ko dhuuNdha to vo bhi Ali ke ghar se milaa

No busques nada ahora, coincide con la búsqueda eterna
Don’t search for anything now, match the eternal search
igualar las huellas del destino deseado con guía
match the footprints of the desired destination with guide
conseguir a Ali es como conseguir una casa de Dios
to get Ali is like getting a house of God
buscando a Dios también, lo encontramos en la casa de Ali
searching for God too, we found Him in Ali’s house.
