Over The Falls

I fell over the falls,
the green water
suffocated my lungs
as I inhaled.
I've been working on, I've been working on changing.

And the foam in my mouth
was like the symbol of a song,
and I awoke on the couch,
I felt alive for the first time.
There's no need to think
when you can breathe.
There's no need to look
when you can see.

My god does not live inside
loose leaf pages,
