This Morning

It has been such a hard time
Everyday feels like a different fight
I try to find hope
In the blue of the sky

Cause I’ve been dark blue
It’s not something new
But I’m tired of staring the walls of this room
Drowning in the seas of a sparkling gloom
The flowers die before they bloom

But this morning I felt something new

This morning I woke up
Feeling like I could fight all these storms
So I sing all of my songs
Let my tears dry on their own
Enjoy the feeling before it’s gone
I still believe brighter days are set to come

I’m sad now
Happiness is something I miss
All I have is hope
Let me have this
I’ve been down for too long
Let me believe happiness exists

This wave is something I can't control
And I think I might fall of the boat
But the sky is turning blue
Or at least I hope

This morning I felt hope for the first time in a while
Makes me hope everything will be alright
