Solitude

These walls have captured my breath
This place knows my smell
Too well

Suddenly, silently
Evening fell over me
Found my head on my hands
Drowning in absence

I locked myself
With my thoughts behind glass walls
Wanting to hear
The sound of my own voice
When did I sow
The dark seeds of solitude?
I wait alone
To harvest its strange flowers

Wake up in fear of birth
Despair lies ahead
Daydreams of emptiness
Lie down in fear of death
Brooding about this absurd existence

I’m trapped inside
With my thoughts behind glass walls
I can only hear
The sound of my own voice
Why did I sow
The dark seeds of solitude?
I never want
To harvest its strange flowers

I was looking for myself
When I stepped into this bright abyss
I jumped inside to find its depth
And I’m falling into nothingness

Hours pass, slow and submissive
And I don’t know what to do
I live inside myself
