Behind Dead Eyes

Darkness is getting closer to me
It covers the vision of beauty I´ve seen
As she show me her face I look at the pain
From a charming blaze of a dying sun
This is the moment I realize
No beauty may live behind dead eyes
So many suffer I´ve seen, so many deaths I´ve lived
But death is just the illusion to escape from lifes grief
Icy winds are crushing my face
So I open my eyes, dead shadows I gaze
I drown in the silence of this dark winternight
Just emptiness can be behind dead eyes
Purgatory in lifes frgidity
Abstract visions of bloodstaind agony
Hope and passion
Banished in depths beyond the truth
...And only the pain remains
Fallen angel dressed in red
There´s passion in your heart
Fragile dignity you shed
I recognize the beauty of the pain from within
