...In the Mirror

Stare at the sun so I can breathe
shock myself back to reality
confusion is couding
my mind depressed by the lapse of time
looking back I see things clearer
realize what I should have done as I stare in the mirror
years pass before my eyes can't see
memories of those living and deceased filling my thoughts with pride
to the future I must strive
the past is gone, can't change decisions
life filled with little ambition
fighting to gain my life back
arms out wide I scream to the heavens
