Funeral Pyre

Sitting by the fire and i watch the flames grew high
Black smoke cleanses souls into the purgatory night
Darkness to the masses and i hear the people scream
As i feed them all to the man-eating machine

Walking through the valley of the shadow of the dead
A man in black with a scythe lead you to your grave
Smiling faces turns to grins, tie you to the pole
Torches lit your fate, flames that eat you whole

Can't stand the heat
So until we meet
I feel the fire
Lit your funeral pyre

Heroes weaken, turns to slaves right before my eyes
Distant glory smudged, crown of ancient kings
An unspeakable force brings you up again
