Yes I believe in God
Yes I believe in his love

The stories I came here to tell
They speak of God, and truth, and love
They show man in search of life
And life itself in search of man
God is always with his people
Yet we hardly understand

So many times I stop and wonder
Why we live the way we do
For we say God came to earth
And yet we hardly think of Him
Everybody talks of hope
And never sets his hope in Him

Oh yes, I sure believe we could
With just a little more to show
Change the world and our times
If we just let religion grow
But we shy from every effort
All we say is “I don't know”

I know this life could be so great
If we tried to imitate
Joseph Mary and their Jesus
In that house in Nazareth
But some people make a house
And find no time to build a home
