Un Favor del Diablo

Hell Of A Favor

Vi esa sonrisa torcida y pensé, conozco a este idiotaI caught that crooked grin and thought, I know this fool
He said, took you long enough, that haircut? You chose that style?
Yo dije: Eres el diablo, él dijo: Técnicamente, luego sonrióI said: You're the devil, he said: Technically, then smiled

Vine a ofrecer tres deseos, ¿no es ese trabajo de un genio?I came to offer three wishes, ain't that a genie's job?
He flashed that smug old grin, you think I'd live in a bottle, boy?
De ninguna manera, mi tipo no espera todo el díaHell no, my kind don't wait around all day
Abrimos la maldita cosa y nos vamosWe kick the damn thing open and walk away

I thought I'd beat the devil's game
Terminé sin deseos, solo con la cuenta del bar a mi nombreEnded up with no damn wishes, just the bar tab in my name
Hell, I'll find a way to slip right through

Dije: Un millón de dólares, él dijo: ¿Efectivo? ¿Qué pasa con los impuestos?I said: A million dollars, he said: Cash? What about tax?
Yo dije: Eso no es justo, él dijo: Deberías haber leído los detallesI said: That ain't fair, he said: Should've read the facts
La mujer más hermosa del mundo, ¿viva? Y loca por míThe prettiest woman alive, alive? And crazy 'bout me
Loca, lo garantizo, pero loca por ti? Eso me superaCrazy, I guarantee, but crazy 'bout you? That's beyond me

I said: Make me the smartest man imaginable
¿Más? Dije, sí, quiero ser tu igualMore? I said, yeah, I wanna be your equal
Él sonrió, ahora estás pidiendo lo imposibleHe grinned, now you're askin' for the impossible

I thought I'd beat the devil's game
Terminé sin deseos, solo con la cuenta del bar a mi nombreEnded up with no damn wishes, just the bar tab in my name
Hell, I'll find a way to slip right through

El diablo dijo, la verdad es que necesito un pequeño favor de tiThe devil said, truth is, I need a little favor from you
Recoge mi maletín en la iglesia, a solo una o dos millasFetch my briefcase at the church, just a mile or two
¿Lo perdiste en una iglesia? Pasan cosas, almas, no me preguntes por quéYou lost it in a church? Things happen, souls, don't ask me why
¿Un deseo más? Pregunté, él sonrió, buen intentoOne more wish? I asked, he grinned, nice try

I thought I'd beat the devil's game
Terminé sin deseos, solo con la cuenta del bar a mi nombreEnded up with no damn wishes, just the bar tab in my name
Hell, I'll find a way to slip right through
