I hate to be the one to tell you that you're lost
And you can't see the power of yourself you've relinquished
It's a shame how you stray and throw consciousness away
And shoot up another vein with social confirmation

A giant finger in your eye, your thoughts die without a cry
As you fail to see your master decompose your mind
That's O.K., by the way, they like it that way
Because they'll never need an answer to what you never say

And we're pickin up the pieces

The many dreams you see will help you shape your reality
Wisdom will replace the need as you walk the path of honesty
My mind is clear, I know, Such things I see, I know

Can't you see that our lives are steeped in destiny
What it means to be free
The color of your fate is yours to see
The shade you choose can set you free
