I was just thinking about
Cool nights under the southern moon
Friends came and visit
Chill on the porch
In a rocking chair humming a mellow tune
Warm wind blowing
Cut-offs and sandals
Long nights drinking with the boys
Not much to do for the rest of the evening
These are the things we enjoy

Over the bridges we ran
Racing along with the southern moon
Chilling with stories
Of hope and adventure
I guess you gotta be going soon

Gold in the river
Dust in your hair
I don't have much to say
Mostly concealing the depth of my feeling
