Looking Glass

Every little child a gift from Heaven.
Every little face a gift, you see.
Take a little closer look and you'll notice
A little bit of you and a little bit of me.

We need to give them all our loving,
We need to teach them how to walk.
We need to be the right example.
Do they really see us practice what we talk?

Lives are as photographs,
Like pictures in a magazine.
Eyes through a looking glass unseen.

Everybody tell one another,
Children of the future we need.
Some to keep the faith of our fathers,
Passing on the message so others will believe.

We all need to raise the standard
So that our children can be free.
Why run the risk of losing everything,
If we should lose their trust, we'll lose our liberty.
