Había una vez un poni cuya Luna brillaba tan intensamenteOnce was a pony whose moon shone so bright
Que as estrellas estaban asombradas por su resplandorThe stars were in awe at its glow
Ella sonrió y dijo: Seguramente no hay ningún ponyShe smiled and said: Surely, there is no pony
Que se atrevería a quedarse dormido durante este maravilloso espectáculoWho’d dare be asleep through this marvelous show

Sus súbditos, nunca vio alguno cuando las sombras cayeronHer subjects she never caught sight of once shadows did fall
Sus risas y alegría no eran más que un sueño en vanoTheir laughter and joy was but a hopeless dream
Que se convirtió en pesadillas a medida que los rayos del Sol encantaban todoWhich grew into nightmares as Sun rays charmed all

Espera ahora, Princesa del Sol, la noche surgiráWait now, Sun princess, the night will arise
Así que no dejes mi Luna en su lugarSo keep not my moon in its place
