Amo al Señor porque escuchó mi vozI love the Lord for he heard my voice
Escuchó mi clamor de misericordiaHe heard my cry for mercy
Lo invocaré mientras vivaI will call on him as long as I live
Porque inclinó su oído hacia míFor he turned his ear to me

Los lazos de la muerteThe cords of death
La angustia de la tumbaThe anguish of the grave
Fui vencido, fui vencidoI was overcome I was overcome
Entonces invoqué su nombreThen I called on the name

El Señor es compasivo y justo y lleno de compasiónThe lord is gracious and righteous and full of compassion
Protege al sencillo, me ha salvado cuando estoy abatidoHe protects the simple he’s saved me when I'm low
Descansa de nuevo, oh mi alma, porque el Señor ha sido bueno contigoOnce more be at rest oh my soul for the lord has been good to you

Oh Señor, has librado mi alma de la muerteO Lord you’ve delivered my soul from death
Mis ojos de lágrimas, mis pies de tropezarMy eyes from tears my feet from stumbling
Para que pueda andar delante de tiThat I may walk before the you
En la tierra de los vivientesIn the land of the living
Oh, ¿cómo puedo pagar al SeñorOh how can I repay the lord
Por toda su bondad hacia mí?For all his goodness to me
