Je n'ai jamais cru à rien de ce que j'ai lu dans votre magazine jusqu'à l'autre soir.I never did believe anything I ever read in your magazine until just the other night.

Quand quelque chose m'est arrivé de si étrange que j'ai ressenti le besoin de le partager avec vos lecteurs.When something happen to me that was so strange that I felt compelled to share it with your readers.

Je suis étudiant à l'Université d'État.I'm a student at State-U.

Peut-être que je m'emballe un peu. C'était il y a un an ce soir que mon colocataire "Stupendous Dork" et moi étions assis dans le dortoir à siroter quelques bières bien fraîches et à fumer un peu, tout en révisant pour l'examen de thérapie de la parole du lendemain, en lisant à voix haute des anciens numéros de votre magazine.Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself. It was one year ago tonight that my room mate "Stupendous Dork" and I were sittin' around the dorm poppin' a few frosty's and burning some rope, and boning up for the speech therapy midterm exam the next day, by reading back issues of your magazine out loud to each other.

We hopped out of the dorm and went across the street to Herbie's Tumble Inn.

Juste en face du dortoir, on est passés par les portes battantes et je n'en croyais pas mes yeux, là elles étaient, assises au bar, ces deux superbes filles, et c'étaient des jumelles siamoises.Right across from the dorm there, we came through the swinging doors and I couldn't believe my eyes, there they were, sitting at the bar, these two luscious babes, and they were Siamese twins

J'ai regardé "Stu" et il m'a regardé et on les a regardées et elles nous ont regardés, puis l'une des jumelles a dit "Vous ne voulez pas vous joindre à nous ?" et j'ai juste ri et on est allés s'asseoir au bar.I looked at "Stu" and he looked at me and we looked at them and they looked at us and then one of the twins said "Won't you join us?" and I just laughed and we went and sat down at the bar.

Il y avait ces 30 motards avec des vestes qui disaient "Harley Aristocrats" dans le dos. There was an Aerobic dance class and there was the commanding officer of the campus ROTC pushing a Nautilus machine right down the double yellow line. I said "What the heck, why don't we all go back to the dorm?"

La dernière chose dont je me souviens, c'est l'une des jumelles qui criait : "Hé Général, mets ton gros missile à tête chercheuse dans mon silo d'amour !"The last thing I remember is one of the twins screaming, "Hey General put your big heat seeking missile in my love silo!"

J'ai obtenu mon diplôme malgré un échec en thérapie de la parole ce trimestre. Hier soir, pour la première fois en un an, mon colocataire Stupendous Dork est retourné au Herbie's pour porter un toast à notre remise de diplôme. On est passés par les portes battantes et là elles étaient au bar, les mêmes deux jumelles siamoises et j'ai dit "Oh non" et je suis allé m'asseoir à une table.I got my degree in spite of failing speech therapy that quarter. Last night for the first time in a year, my room mate Stupendous Dork went back to Herbie's to toast our Commencement. Came thru the swingin' doors and there they were at the bar, the same two Siamese twins and I said "Oh no" and I went and sat down a table.

Les jumelles sont venues à la table et celle qui était en spécialité de thérapie de la parole m'a regardé droit dans les yeux et a dit : "Excusez-moi, vous ne vous souvenez probablement pas de nous."The twins came over to the table and the one that was a speech therapy major looked my right in the eye and said: "Excuse me you probably don't remember us."
