¿Cómo has caído del cielo, oh Lu'ci-fer, hijo de la mañana?How art thou fallen from heaven, o Lu'ci-fer, son of the morning!
¿Cómo has sido derribado a la tierra, debilitando a las naciones?How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations.
Porque has dicho en tu corazón,For thou hast said in thine heart,
Subiré al cielo,I will ascend into heaven,
Exaltaré mi trono por encima de las estrellas de Dios:I will exalt my throne above the stars of God:
También me sentaré en el monte de la congregación,I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation,
En los lados del Norte:In the sides of the North:
Subiré por encima de las alturas de las nubes;I will ascend above the heights of the clouds;
Seré como el Altísimo.I will be like the most High.
Aun así serás derribado al Infierno, a los lados del abismo.Yet thou shalt be brought down to Hell, to the sides of the pit.
