Pain

I remember lying in the dark
weeks on a drip and beginning to starve
I remember feeling down and useless
stuck in a hospital bed slowly going mad
PAIN, BLOODY PAIN, IT DRIVES ME INSANE
hours under sedation through a sticky operation
a whole day sleeping and is back with the living
unable to move I'm getting too rude
can't even piss on my own feet like a stone

two months are passed I'm still not right
in and out of hospital I can see no end
they tell me not to worry they say I'm alright
they suggesting another op and then the pain will stop
