God damn, you talk about your parents
They tell him for a complaining
That his mom is shoving carrots down his throat
Ignorance reverberates like a chamber back and forth like plates

And God damn for spitting on your dad
Cause he didn't buy his skin in a game you already had

God bless our children and their bulletproof vests

It's amazing how cynical a person can be
Still talking about the love that they don't preach
As children validate feelings of self-indulgent
And less important cases of family complications
People tell the victims of abuse
Who chooses to stay silent
After a violent offense
To not create more attention at home

And so we live in constant damage
Trying to speak the same language
Trying to be the same saviors as our parents
Mama told me not to talk to strangers
