"Mais maintenant ma voix est cassée et personne ne veut de moi."But now my voice is cracked and no one wants me.
"Ma femme a abandonné depuis des années."My wife gave up on me years ago.
"Ça fait si longtemps que mes enfants ne me connaissent même plus."It's been so long my kids don't even know me.
"Et jouer et chanter, c'est la seule vie que j'ai connue.""And pickin' and singin' is the only life I've known."

Et puis il a chanté : "Je me demande si Dieu aime la musique country.And then he sang: "I wonder if God likes country music.
"Y aura-t-il un endroit là-haut pour chanter mes chansons ?"Will there be a place up there to sing my songs?
"Va-t-il rendre mes doigts agiles comme avant,"Will he make my fingers nimble like they used to be,
"Pour que je puisse jouer les accords et chanter avec ?""So I can play the chords and sing along?"
