We could pretend that it's nothing
Hide from this sufferin'

We could make ourselves immune
Play it safe and resume
Singing ourselves the same old tune
I wonder if we will
We could choose not to use our eyes
Lose ourselves in our disguise
Know but pretend otherwise
And wonder still
What do we become
