The Serpent Uncoils

The serpent uncoils
Devours the sunlight
Ether arise

Through darkened currents
The fallen are carried away on the wind

Rays of dusk are grasping
At the veils of celestial horizons
Disembodied voices cry down the wind
And whisper through leaves

The path taken will find destruction
Along the river’s edge we’ll weep
And feel whats beyond
The Moon hidden beneath

In the mirror, two-fold
An echo, a balance of life
Reflection. The land barren
Desert wind blows

Light passes through night
Moves the stars and alters time
Journeys on the barque of all ages
Life that flows in currents to the sea

Hawk and temple, sycamore tree
Mother of the dead
Your veil, no mortal hand hath raised
Ouroboros consumes
