I'm just a kid if I'm honest
Don't know why we're talking about it
I'll only drive if I know where we're going
Not up for the challenge

Cause I don't know the street names
And I don't watch the news
And my friends laugh at how I'm so out of the loop
And I don't want to leave home, but I hate this town
If I move to the East Coast, will I like myself?

I put up a front so you think I know what I'm doing
Life was great when I was too young
To know what I'd be losing
And my issues may have caused this
And your friends think I'm stupid

Overwhelming to know nothing
But the things I don't need

Thought they would split up at fourteen
I blinked and I'm off to college
Feel like I'm destined for failure
If I'm not by far the smartest
