Sad Faces

Stacks of unread self help books on my table
Telling me to just breathe and to be grateful
Im spending all my money on things
That I don’t need
Got a king size bed, but I can’t sleep

I just wanna feel
I just wanna feel fine
But I don’t know how to deal
Don’t know how to heal
All of the chaos in my mind
So I switch up the meds
Cut off my friends
Go home with someone
And try to pretend
Say that I’m sorry and do it again

Tired of ending all my sentences with sad faces
Tired of taking all myhappy thoughts to badplaces
And I really wanna change, really wanna be ok
But it’s hard when everybody’s got the the same sad faces

Filling every inch of my bathroom mirror
With quotes supposed to help me see myself clearer
But im spending all my money on things
