Porque es Él quien te aleja de la trampa"For it is He Who takes you away from the trap
Y de la enfermedad mortalAnd from the killing sickness
Él te cubrirá con sus alasHe will cover you with His wings
Y bajo sus alas estarás seguroAnd under His wings you will be safe
Es fiel como un cobertor seguro y una muralla fuerteHe is faithful like a safe-covering and a strong wall
No tendrás miedo de los problemas en la nocheYou will not be afraid of trouble at night
O de la flecha que vuela de día.Or of the arrow that flies by day.
No tendrás miedo de la enfermedad que camina en la oscuridadYou will not be afraid of the sickness that walks in darkness
O de los problemas que destruyen al mediodíaOr of the trouble that destroys at noon
Pueden caer mil a tu ladoA thousand may fall at your side
Y diez mil a tu diestraAnd ten thousand at your right hand
Pero no se acercará a tiBut it will not come near you
Solo mirarás con tus ojosYou will only look on with your eyes
Y verás cómo son castigados los pecadoresAnd see how the sinful are punished
Porque has hecho del Señor tu refugioBecause you have made the Lord your safe place
