They went to meet the familyForam ter com a família
And the friends who were still friendsE com os amigos que ainda o eram

They saw fates, they saw dancesViram fados, viram viras
They saw songs of revoltViram canções de revolta
And they found good friendsE encontraram bons amigos
In more than one loose quatrainEm mais que uma quadra solta

One saw a book calledUma viu um livro chamado

And revisited old friendshipsE reviu velhas amizades
