Bert (escribiendo una carta con un lápiz): "querido señor rogers, desearía que me enviaras ..."Bert (writing a letter with a pencil): "dear mister rogers, i wish you would send me ..."

Ernie (entrando): ¡vaya calor que hace hoy, bert! (bert no responde) ¿bert? oh, está escribiendo una carta. no lo molestaré. (más alto) ¡no te molestaré, bert! (bert levanta la vista, suspira y sigue escribiendo) solo voy a buscar el ventilador eléctrico y encender un poco de aire fresco. (toma el ventilador y lo enciende) ahí, eso está mejor. (pausa) si un poco de aire fresco se siente bien, apuesto a que más aire fresco se sentiría aún mejor. (lo enciende más fuerte; ¡comienza a soplar mucho viento!) oh, cuanto más aire sopla este ventilador, más fresco me siento. ¡apuesto a que si lo encendiera al máximo, se pondría realmente fresco! (lo hace, y los papeles comienzan a volar por todas partes.) ¡oh, wow!Ernie (entering): boy, it's a hot one today, bert! (bert doesn't answer) bert? oh, he's writing a letter. i won't bother him. (louder) i won't bother you, bert! (bert looks up, sighs, and continues writing) i'll just get the electric fan and turn on some cool air. (gets the fan and turns it on) oh, there, that's better. (pause) if some cool air feels good, i'll bet more cool air would feel even better. (turns it on higher; it's starting to get really breezy now!) oh, the more air this fan blows, the cooler i feel. i bet if i turned it on all the way, it'd get really cool! (does so, and papers start blowing around everywhere.) oh, wow!

Bert: ¡ernie! ¡el ventilador! ¡apágalo!Bert: ernie! the fan! turn it off!

Ernie: ¿qué pasa, bert?Ernie: what's that, bert?

Bert: ¡apaga el ventilador!Bert: turn the fan off!

Ernie: ¡no te escucho, bert!Ernie: i can't hear you, bert!

Bert: ¡dije, apaga el ventilador!Bert: i said, turn the fan off!

Ernie: ¿apagar el ventilador?Ernie: turn the fan off?

Bert: ¡apaga el ventilador!Bert: turn the fan off!

Ernie: ah, está bien. (lo apaga)Ernie: oh, okay. (turns it off)

Bert: ernie ...Bert: ernie ...

Ernie: ¿sí, bert?Ernie: yes, bert?
