Hay conmoción en mi cerebro, extraña es la noción
There's commotion in my brain, strange is the notion
Las palabras no pueden explicar mi rango de emoción
Words cannot explain my range of emotion
Estoy sin palabras, mis defectos expuestos y mi debilidad
I'm speechless, my flaws exposed and my weakness
Cada respiración me acerca más a una prueba profunda
Each breath draws me closer to a deep test
Es el mes número siete, han pasado diez días
It's month number seven, it's been ten days
He estado despierto toda la noche reflexionando sobre mis caminos
I've been awake all night reflecting on my ways
Una amenaza para mi paz en este mayor de los momentos
A threat to my peace in this greatest of moments
Porque soy el Sumo Sacerdote y es el Día de la Expiación
Because I'm the High Priest and it's the Day of Atonement
El Señor es tan santo y perfecto, estoy nervioso
The LORD is so holy and perfect, I'm nervous

I'm floored that He chose me to worship through service

La generación anterior me enseñó a leer las regulaciones
Preceding generation taught me to read the regulations

Deep meditation on decreed revelation
La inquietud extrema genera vacilación
Extreme trepidation breeds hesitation
Sin embargo, debo liderar y ser la representación
Yet I must lead and be the representation
Mi ocupación... para interceder por la nación
My occupation- to intercede for the nation
Pero mis propios pecados necesitan expiación
But indeed my own sins need expiation
La ira de la tristeza de Jehová, el pecado no es broma para Él
The wrath of Jehovah's grim, sin is no joke to Him
La esperanza es escasa para los hombres impíos que se acercan a Él
The hope is slim for unholy men coming close to Him
Él ha hablado en Su Palabra la manera apropiada de acercarse a Él
He's spoken in His Word the proper way of approach to Him
Nadab y Abihu se equivocaron y los asó
Nadab and Abihu got it wrong and He roasted them
Estas cosas pesan mientras suspiro
These things I weigh as I sigh
¡Este podría ser el mejor día de mi vida o el día en que muera!
This could either be the greatest day of my life or the day that I die!

For now, no time to focus on my sinning
Me baño en la lavabos aunque parece extremo
I bathe in the laver though it seems extreme
Me puse el abrigo sagrado de lino blanco
I put on the holy coat made of white linen
Anhelando Su favor - Estoy ceremonialmente limpio
Craving His favor- I'm ceremonially clean
Comprobo para inspeccionar- no hay vacilaciones tangibles
I check to inspect- no tangible faltering
A continuación debo recoger los animales para la ofrenda
Next I must collect the animals for the offering
Un carnero impecable y un toro... los componentes
A spotless ram and a bull- the components
Dios da para hacer expiación por mis propios pecados
God gives to make atonement for my own sins
Esta parte del ritual me hace muy cauteloso
This part of the ritual makes me real cautious
Porque la misma vista de la sangre me hace sentir náuseas
Because the very sight of blood makes me feel nauseous
Sigo procediendo arrebatándolo de cerca, cortando su garganta
Still I proceed by snatching him close, slashing his throat
cuando su sangre salpicó en mi abrigo
when his blood splashed on my coat
Reaccionando, me ahogo... jadeando ahí es cuando estoy agarrando
Reacting, I choke- gasping that's when I'm grasping
La reacción de Dios que provoca el pecado
God's reaction that sin provokes
Me tomo un momento para reflexionar sobre la sangre derramada en este
I take a moment to reflect on the blood spilled in this
Mirando a la cabra para ser enviada al desierto
Staring at the goat to be sent into the wilderness
Confesaré los pecados de Israel con mis manos en su cabeza
I'll confess Israel's sins with my hands on his head
Simbolizando la culpa transferida en su lugar
Symbolizing guilt transferred instead
a un sustituto del Dios viviente provisto y sellado
to a substitute the living God provided and stamped
culpable de nuestro pecado, conducido fuera del campo
guilty of our sin, driven outside the camp
Esta hermosa imagen de esperanza y gracia motiva
This beautiful picture of hope and grace motivates
Y no quiero que mi miedo haga que esta ocasión sea desperdiciada
And I don't want my fear to make this dope occasion go to waste
Cámbiate mis ropas exteriores, despacio mi ritmo
Change my outer garments, slow my pace- yo I brace
a mí mismo para estar ante el rostro de Jehová en el Lugar Santo

About to enter in- what a lonely enterprise
Mira a los otros sacerdotes, sólo hablan con sus ojos
Look at the other priests, they speak only with their eyes
Cuerda atada alrededor de mi tobillo por si no sobrevivo
Rope tied around my ankle just in case I don't survive
Entro por la primera cortina a una habitación oscura
I enter through the first curtain to a dark room
Estoy parado en el Lugar Santo, mis pensamientos consumidos
I'm standing in the Holy Place, my thoughts consumed

I'm caught off guard, I'm unraveling at this stage

It's no mere coincidence I'm here surrendering
Con miedo y temblor casi estoy entrando
With fear and trembling I'm nearly entering
Tengo ganas de correr asustado, esperando no estar preparado
I feel like running scared, hoping I'm not unprepared
Aturdido por el miedo. Nadie entra aquí sino una vez al año
Stunned with fear- no one comes in here but once a year
Sin embargo, estoy en el punto de no retorno
Nevertheless I'm at the point of no return
Además, no quiero que mi unción sea rechazada
Besides, I don't want my anointing to be spurned

It's almost unbearable but I must fulfill my duty
