ERSTE HEXE.FIRST WITCH.
Wann werden wir drei uns wiedersehen?When shall we three meet again?
Bei Donner, Blitz oder Regen?In thunder, lightning, or in rain?

ZWEITE HEXE.SECOND WITCH.
Wenn das Durcheinander vorbei ist,When the hurlyburly's done,
Wenn die Schlacht verloren und gewonnen ist.When the battle's lost and won.

DRITTE HEXE.THIRD WITCH.
Das wird sein, bevor die Sonne untergeht.That will be ere the set of sun.

Schön ist schlecht, und schlecht ist schön:Fair is foul, and foul is fair:
Schweben durch den Nebel und die dreckige Luft.Hover through the fog and filthy air.

Auf dem Heidefeld.Upon the heath.

DRITTE HEXE.THIRD WITCH.
Dort, um Macbeth zu treffen.There to meet with Macbeth.

Weniger als Macbeth, und größer.Lesser than Macbeth, and greater.

DRITTE HEXE.THIRD WITCH.
Du wirst Könige zeugen, obwohl du keiner bist:Thou shalt get kings, though thou be none:
Seid gegrüßt, Macbeth! Du wirst hiernach König sein!All hail, Macbeth! that shalt be king hereafter!
