A World Inside

Today is so long and cold, the harshest I've ever known
I'm not sure what I can do, but I know that I can make it through
My world inside this angers me
Yet gives me the strength I need

In a picture perfect world
Like one massive contrived mural
Now I see, to the edge of this dismal place
Before I leave lost and erased
