Turned on the radio and there it was
A song that sounded like something I wrote
The voice and melody were hauntingly
So familiar that I thought it was a joke

Is it beyond intelligence
As if the soul need not exist

Evolution ever-changing
Lost in space and time

I held my baby as the Sun came up
And I watched him as he opened up his eyes
What will I tell him when he's old enough
To want the answers to all the questions why?
