Senseless Guilt

I am tired of all the things that keep me away from You.
I spend too much time ignoring Your truth.
My endless sin leads to senseless guilt,
but You forgive me still.
Forgetting my past so easily.

It is hard to try and think about all the times I never trusted You.
Then I remembered when I did how it felt to make it through.

I am never thankful enough to begin to comprehend the suffering you were in
when You died for my sins.
I wish the world could see all You have done for me.
Out of countless others, You chose me.
