Azure Salver

De lucht is de azuurblauwe schotel,The sky is the azure salver,
De zon en de maan zijn Uw lamp,The sun and moon are Thy lamp,
De sterren zijn Uw verspreide parels.The stars are Thy scattered pearls.
De sandelhoutbossen zijn Uw wierook,The sandal forests are Thy incense,
En de bries is Uw waaier.And the breeze is Thy fan.

Deze, samen met de bloemen van de natuur,These, along with the flowers of vegetation,
Worden als offers aan Uw voeten gelegd.Are laid as offerings at Thy feet.
Welke andere aanbidding kan vergeleken worden metWhat other worship can be compared to
Natuur's eigen Feest van het Licht,Nature's own Festival of Lights,
Terwijl de Goddelijke Muziek weerklinkt van binnen.While the Divine Music resounds within.

Duizend zijn Uw ogen, en toch heb je geen ogen;Thousand are Thine eyes, yet Thou has no eyes;
Duizend zijn Uw vormen, en toch heb je geen vorm;Thousand are Thy forms, and yet Thou has no form;
Duizend zijn Uw lotusvoeten, en toch heb je geen voeten;Thousand are Thy lotus-feet, and yet Thou has no feet;
Ik ben betoverd door Uw spel.I am enchanted with Thy play.

Het is het Licht dat in elk hart leeft,It is the Light which lives in every heart,
En Uw Licht dat elke ziel verlicht.And Thy Light which illumines every soul.

Wat U behaagt, dat is de Ware Aanbidding.Whatever is pleasing to Thee, that is the True Worship.
