Fulfilling the Throne

The dawn's light break over what is now
Just a darkened land opening up my eyes
To this task that's placed before my hands

Through the centuries I have sought
The knowledge learned from the battles they once fought
Forever dark in soul and mind
From my throne, guided by the fires in the skies

Ascension due to plagues that have rid this land of its rightful heirs
Placing under me all the lands and seas that are truly theirs

From my throne in lofty peaks
I hear the countryside cry as they weep
To rule this land when time doth cry
This land shall rise, and give birth to its king

Born to moonlit skies
Born from servants of the night
Brought forth when time doth call
To rule until this land falls

Darkness reigns in thru my eyes
Tyrant with a will to end all life
Ruler this his land shall be
Emperor with the land as one he'll be
