El que habita al abrigo del AltísimoHe who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
Descansará a la sombra del TodopoderosoWill find rest in the shadow 'f the Almighty
Diré yo al Señor: "Tú eres mi refugio"I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge
Mi Dios, mi escudo, en quien confíoMy God and my shield in whom I trust
Porque ciertamente te librará de la trampa del cazadorFor surely He will save you from the fowler's snare
Y de la peste mortal tambiénAnd from the deadly pestilence as well
Te cubrirá con sus plumasHe will cover over you with His feathers
Y bajo sus alas hallarás pazAnd there under His wings you will find peace
Y su fidelidad será tu escudoAnd His faithfulness will be your shield

No temerás el terror de la nocheYou'll not fear the terror of the night time
Ni la flecha que vuela de díaNor the arrow that flies by day
Ni la peste que acecha en la oscuridadNor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness
Ni la plaga que destruye al mediodíaNor the plague that destroys at midday
Caerán mil a tu ladoA thousand may fall at your side
Diez mil a tu derechaTen thousand may fall at your right hand
Pero a ti no te llegaráBut it will not come near you
Solo verásYou will only see
Solo observarás cuando llegue el juicioYou will only observe when judgement comes
Porque Él manda a sus ángeles acerca de tiFor He commands His angels concerning you
Para que te guarden por donde quiera que vayasTo guard you wherever you may go
Para estar contigo y levantarte en sus manosTo be with you, and lift you in their hands
Para que no tropieces con tu pie en piedraSo that you won't strike your foot against a stone

Si haces del Altísimo tu moradaWell if you make the Most High your dwelling
Aún el Señor, que es mi refugioEven the Lord who is my refuge
Ciertamente ningún gran mal te sobrevendráSurely no great harm will befall you
Ni la calamidad se acercará a tu hogarNor disaster will come there near your home
Porque Él manda a sus ángeles acerca de tiFor He commands His angels concerning you
